A rainbow after the rain..

Well i guess, its true on the saying..a rainbow after the rain, where happiness shall ends the day..all we need is a little patience and faith in our selves..it will repays..

And..the center piece..Rainbow cake layered and coated with chocolate ganache..with Nabil's fave character Lightning McQueen..for decoration i combined everything. fondant as well as butter cream for the borders..
Really hope Nabils likes it!

Nothing beats than words of praises on all the delights..as i said..a rainbow after the rain..ishhkk not that i broke into tear while baking..how i managed to do all in one single nite..

Pssttt..see why all congo bars, oreo brownies as well as the RV cuppies had the same green leaf on the side..? My companion thru the nite, baking non-stopping..

Long weekend...means happiness...

Yeay..i am looking forward for this long weekend..and i guess everyone is the same as well.. more time..with the hope more things to get done :))

a blessed week..

Yes in deed it was blessed week, last week..Hb was not around the whole week, where 1/2 of me is totally gone :) Nonetheless, seeing below output really put smile on me eventho i was with cold-flu during the last cuppies bake.. TQ Kak Lyn for the moral support, yup..it worked..a good hot coffee and mini-nap, had turned out the bicycle pretty well.. And of course Hb was back that nite which gives me total energy to finished all up.. :)

My last bake of the week was..200 choc and vanilla cuppies for Mak Long. By this time I was already 'down' with cold and flu..Sorry, I could not make to the wedding, will make up in other day!

A week of everything..

Alhamdulillah, last's week bakes were completed last nite. Yes, it was exhausted, but satisfied.

Moist choc cuppies with chocolate ganache, as well as Red Velvet cuppies, both totalled of 180 cuppies. TQVM Ita..

And, last one was requested by my son for his school party..Moist choc with chocolate ganache, edible image i bought from Bake with Yen. Please ignore the middle part of the box where no image was placed..that's because a set of edible only consist of 24 pc..this was last minute, Iman simply cant decide either Angry Bird or Rio..at last i made the choice..he was happy tho..

Moist Choc Cake & Butter Cake with Choc Chips

Happy Saturday all..this what was baked last nite.

Moist choc cake with chocolate topping. TQVM Azira! Tho u haven't collected the cake yet, sorry for early update.. this is the only time i am able to update this entry as the house are still and quite :)

And, i also had tried this new butter recipe frim RIMA, my version i added choc chips for more twist for the kids. Simply so good, i'd guess this could be a good birthday/party/wedding cake base..passed some to my neighbour :) Source of recipe is HERE.

 

....I'd like to show off, my new gadget in the kitchen..hahhaha..no more 'juling' eyes to measure the kitchen scale..here goes precision and accuracy..provided, the battery is there!! ahakss.. psst, the rambutan was the proof of correct weight as bought at the shop :)

Three in a nite..

As salam all..My last bake was Monday nite, as the previous post. Tuesday nite i was still ok, as i called it my rest nite. Wednesday nite, i already feel something amissed..took out the butter, grabbed my jot book, put on the apron..and here i go..three new recipe in a nite..ahakss..

Banana cake with choc chips. Turned our very soft and moist but not too sweet and far-far away like the shop's take. The taste of the banana was strong and original! The recipe was in my jot book, i'll share later. Insyaallah..

I have been longing to try this..and turned out so delicious!!!!! I dont know why lately i just love the taste of brownies and the square shape cutting. Simply easy to grab and have at a go..and i dont have the guilt to have 2-3 pcs as it's so small...imagine having 2-3 large cut of cakes, such a big guilt...Source of recipe is HERE.

Last week i had Famous Amos giant cookies with heaps of raisins, oat and choc chips..and hadnt had enough of  those..and yes, i do have a sweet tooth. If you ask me which aremy preferences, i'd chooce cookies and brownies over cakes. But yes, it feels always good to indulge into a good and delicious cake once a  while. So last nite, the 3rd bake was chewey gooey choc with cranberries cookies..Source of recipe is HERE. The original recipe had peanut butter, i omitted those instead replace with a cup of dried cranberries which i got from Bake with Yen. Yummyyyyyy!! Had a box of these on my work desk..

It was a fruity deal..

I was checking my FB page last nite and an old friend of mine suddenly sent a message..Asking what's a Pavlova..knowing her taste I'd know she wont like the taste & texture of it. She said she feels like having an orange cake..And automatically, Sicilian Orange Cake came to my head. I made this cake longgg.. time ago..and it was indeed a super duper delicious, soft, moist cake.. yet it was so simple to make..and i'd guarantee nothing will go wrong..source of recipe HERE!

And just before I started to bake, she sms-ed me asking to bake another cake, Victoria Sandwich Cake, which was her hb's fave. Lucky all the ingredient was at hand..and i just whisk it all up..source of recipe HERE!

The aroma of these cakes lingered into the entire house..lucky it doesn't wakes the kids up :) All that I know..these fruity deals really ends and my weekend..TQVM Yatie..hope u n hubby enjoy the cake..!! And I am looking forward for an up coming baking project..

A wish of Eid al-Adha for all..

It's the Festive of Sacrifice. And it is true and what transpired through our life. You cant have it all where sacrifices had to be taken into account and live life as is. I am just happy and syukur for what I live and had.

Alhamdulillah, 3 requests last week..and TQ peeps for continuous trust and order..

It's the trend now..cake in jar..cuppies in jar..pavlova in jar..it was such a good idea..you'll save space in your fridge..Here are my version..Red velvet cake in a box..ahakss it's so sweet (at least i think)..This was for engagement gift..TQVM Azira..hope the bride-to-be loves it and be as sweet as the red color..:)

Rich and delicious..

Rich and delicious are my fave words! It's rich in flavour and simply delicious that's how i'd like my cake to be.. Of course everyone's taste or perception are different. And again, to ultimately said the cake is rich & delicious would be far too subjective. It depends on individual and preferences.

Last Saturday nite, i purposely baked us our own RV cake. Had been a while since we had RV as most of the time i would bake it for the customer only. Deeply, i've always had chocolate cake as my all time fave.

I was hit! My RV was indeed rich and delicious! And the flavour was unique and again delicious!!
